Mission

Mission

The mission of Continuing Education Human Resource Services is to see that part–time, contract personnel for Continuing Education are eligible for employment, properly hired, and accurately paid on time.

Eligibility

Eligibility to work includes compliance with U.S. Department of Justice Immigration and Naturalization laws, academic and professional qualifications, and BYU Board of Trustees’ policies and conditions of employment.

Hiring Goal

Recognizing the influence of employees on participating patrons, Continuing Education strives to hire role models who demonstrate a life that combines the quest for intellectual rigor with spiritual values and  personal integrity.

Financial Stewardship

The Human Resource office’s financial stewardship includes accurate payroll processing, appropriate accounting practices, and timely payments.

Department Support

Human Resource Services helps provide training and support to program departments by holding quarterly meetings for department HR specialists. Minutes of these meetings are sent to attendees and their directors.
